A CHILD’S WISH
Whisper to me, oh GOD,
of your mercy, your care, your love.
Hold me in your everlasting caress
Come to me in ways I can see
and grant me your dearest peace
IT ALL MAKES SENSE
It makes sense
that I’d have to fall apart
before I fell together
child-woman
dark-light
brokeness-integration.
All the pieces of my puzzle
the threads of my tapestry
the chords of my heartstrings
How could one be so fragmented
so disjointed
so disconnected?
It all makes sense to me
I fell apart….a…part
A part from
Apart
from the world.
THIS MUCH I KNOW
Out of the darkness comes light
Out of the deepest darkest soil which is ever present
Long after trees or plants or flowers die
After a hurricane or even the storms of our lives
New life springs forth, and we begin anew.
Each day the sun rises
And we begin anew.
The good passes and the bad passes.
We are always starting over.
This too shall pass and we begin…….again.
